Living Essentials Fund awards over £270k to charitable organisations in Oxfordshire

Four women rowed 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean, winning the 2024 women’s class World’s Toughest Row and raising £62,5000 for mental health charities. The funds have been split between three charities including a named fund held by Oxfordshire Community Foundation to award grants to local youth engagement programme.

Community Capacity Fund awards £347k to help people to live well

Grants totalling £347,000 have been awarded to charitable organisations across Oxfordshire to help people to live well and healthily in their communities for as long as possible. The Community Capacity Fund has been able to fund a total of 30 grassroots charitable organisations.

OCF’s accounts reveal fourth consecutive year of giving around £2 million annually

OCF has just published it’s annual accounts for the financial year 2023-24. £1.9 million of grants were made during the year to support grassroots charities across Oxfordshire where the need for philanthropy has never been more strongly felt.
