Oxfordshire Community Foundation is celebrating its 30th anniversary this month, having distributed more than £20 million in grants to improve lives and tackle inequalities across Oxfordshire.
The Didcot Powerhouse Fund, hosted by Oxfordshire Community Foundation, celebrates the impact of local projects that are making a significant change in the lives of neighbours in their community.
£270,000 has been distributed to 33 charitable organisations with funding from Oxfordshire Community Foundation’s Living Essentials Fund. This is empowering them to deliver their work through the winter months to Oxfordshire residents who are struggling to provide the essentials for themselves and their families.
Oxford-based charity, St Michael’s and All Saints’ Charities has partnered with Oxfordshire Community Foundation (OCF) for its 2024 grants awards, donating £30,000 to benefit people with the most pressing needs
Four women rowed 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean, winning the 2024 women’s class World’s Toughest Row and raising £62,5000 for mental health charities. The funds have been split between three charities including a named fund held by Oxfordshire Community Foundation to award grants to local youth engagement programme.
Grants totalling £347,000 have been awarded to charitable organisations across Oxfordshire to help people to live well and healthily in their communities for as long as possible. The Community Capacity Fund has been able to fund a total of 30 grassroots charitable organisations.
OCF has just published it’s annual accounts for the financial year 2023-24. £1.9 million of grants were made during the year to support grassroots charities across Oxfordshire where the need for philanthropy has never been more strongly felt.

OCF’s Living Essentials Fund opens for applications from Oxfordshire’s grassroots charities. Grants will support charitable organisations that are helping people with unaffordable essentials such as homelessness, food insecurity and warmth as well as debt advice.
