Representatives from voluntary organisations across the Thames Valley attended a workshop held in Oxford on 22nd June, which gathered local views on a government initiative to enhance employer-supported volunteering.

Oxford-based construction company Beard has launched a charitable foundation to support staff community initiatives and construction education projects. The foundation has been set up with a £250,000 donation from the Beard family and will be held and managed by Oxfordshire Community Foundation.

OCF is delighted to be managing a charitable fund on behalf of Homes for Oxford, which is seeking pledges, donations and other philanthropic support to help them obtain a site to build permanently affordable homes in Oxford.
OCF is proud to be supporting the 7th Oxford Mela, which is an annual one-day festival in East Oxford, presenting multicultural activities for a secular society to reach different communities of Oxford. The Mela will take place on Saturday 21st May at Rose Hill Community Centre.
