MAPPING AND REPORTING TOOL
Many of our reports are produced using community mapping and reporting tool Local Insight, developed externally by OCSI. It makes use of open data sources, such as the Census, the Department for Work and Pensions, deprivation indices and most recently data sets relevant to COVID-19.
Providing many layers of rich information in one place, it gives you the latest data and analysis for your communities or local services. Charities and volunteer-led groups can use it to identify the geographies where they should focus their efforts, and councils to inform and prioritise statutory services.
You can access this public insight website for Oxfordshire now. We will continuously update it to provide more useful groupings to map, and further downloadable reports. A user guide is available below.
A recording of our Local Insight skills workshop is available at the side of this page – watch for a briefing and demo of how to use the tool.
