Our four staff and two of our trustees will take a valuable pause for thought at the national community foundations conference, which takes place in Belfast with the theme of ‘Leadership: Transforming Vision into Reality’. During the three days of the conference the office will be closed and we will not be available on our usual phone number.
From 23-25 September 2015, community foundations from all over the UK and colleagues from outside the network will once again come together for the biennial UKCF conference. We will be joined by members of community foundation networks from around the world, learning from each other and from a range of experts drawn from both within and outside the third sector.
The conference programme features inspirational speakers including Paul Schmitz – community guru to the Obama administration – and England Rugby legend Sir Clive Woodward, as well as an array of targeted workshops to help participants get the most from conference and learn from our community foundation colleagues.
Our office will be closed from Wednesday to Friday, and we will not be answering phones or emails until we return on Monday 28th September.
