Wishing you a peaceful festive season

As we come to the end of 2023 we’d like to thank our volunteers, trustees, supporters, donors and wonderful local charities and organisations who continue to amaze and inspire us every day. Our report, Oxfordshire Uncovered, shows how vital these grassroots charities are and the life-changing differences they make to people’s lives.

There are so many wonderful things happening in our communities to make Christmas a little easier for those most in need. From the Cutteslowe Community Centre’s Wishing Tree, providing gifts to those with financial insecurity ensuring their families don’t go without, to Pause, where the OCF team have helped to pack gifts to women whose children have been taken into care, providing them with what could be their only Christmas present this year, these are just two examples of the truly amazing things being done to help people to feel cared for and part of a community.

Here are some of the OCF team packing the gifts for Pause to deliver around Oxfordshire:

We’ll be taking a break from our desks and taking a well earned rest after a busy and rewarding year. The office will be closed from Monday 25th December to Monday 1st January inclusive, and we will return on Tuesday 2nd January.

From all of the team at OCF we hope you have a peaceful and restful festive season and we look forward to seeing you in 2024!
