Maggie’s Day 2022 was held on Tuesday 12th July and celebrated over ten years of activities at The Story Museum. Maggie’s Day showcases the collaboration between the Maggie Evans Fund and The Story Museum, to engage school children across Oxfordshire with a love of books and stories and into their Extreme Reading Adventures programme.
We will launch a grants round in the autumn/winter to alleviate the cost of living crisis across the county. We are working with local charities and community organisations to help us direct funding where it is most needed.
The Step Change annual review celebrates the 12 months to April 2022, when four new infrastructure grants were made to the tune of over £208k, and project managers supported the ongoing implementation of 12 active projects.
The new Oxfordshire Collective Business Fund is a way for local businesses to make a genuine difference to the communities in which they operate, by combining contributions in one fund from which grants are made annually to Oxfordshire charitable organisations.
OCF’s trustees took part in a workshop to strengthen our philanthropy development and donor care, run by OCF staff and kindly hosted by the University of Oxford’s Sociology Department.
OCF is delighted to announce a brand new annual grants round from The Didcot Powerhouse Fund. Grants between £1,000 and £25,000 are available. Applications are open for initial Expression of Interest until Thursday 17 February.
