Oxfordshire Community Foundation (OCF) is delighted to welcome Naomi Lyons to our team as Senior Philanthropy Advisor, a new role that strengthens the personalised support we offer to our fundholders.

As our donor‑advised funds have grown, so has the need to offer a more dedicated service to our fundholders. Naomi’s appointment reflects this positive growth and our ongoing commitment to providing thoughtful, personal support to everyone who chooses to give through a donor-advised fund.

Supporting donors to make the greatest impact

In her new role, Naomi will:

  • Build strong relationships with fundholders and understand their philanthropic interests
  • Match donors with grantee organisations where appropriate
  • Manage all donation and grant‑making processes for our donor-advised funds
  • Enhance the insight and reporting we provide back to fundholders

Her focus is on providing fully bespoke support, creating even more opportunities for donors to engage with the issues and communities they care about.

Experience rooted in Oxfordshire and national philanthropy

Naomi brings extensive experience from senior philanthropy roles in national charities, most recently at Oxfam GB, where she led the Philanthropy and Partnerships team. She also has a deep understanding of OCF from her recent service on our Board of Trustees, giving her strong insight into the needs and strengths of local communities.

Having lived in Oxfordshire for five years, Naomi is passionate about supporting donors who want to make a difference here. She looks forward to meeting fundholders and offering bespoke guidance – whether that involves exploring new areas of interest, understanding impact more deeply, or more closely integrating philanthropy advice with other professional advice services.

A warm welcome

We are thrilled to have Naomi join the team. She will now be the main point of contact for fundholder enquiries, while the wider OCF team remains close at hand.

Naomi’s appointment represents the next step in our ongoing commitment to provide thoughtful, personalised support to the generous individuals, families and organisations who choose to give through OCF.

We warmly welcome Naomi and look forward to the impact this strengthened support will help to achieve across Oxfordshire.
