Kate Fyson was elected to the OCF trustee board last week, and brings extensive experience in finance and high-level planning that will help us fulfil our ambitions over the coming years.
Kate is an experienced finance professional with over 15 years’ of experience in privately held businesses, with a strong track record in strategy, corporate planning and structuring. She holds a degree in Chemistry from Oxford University, and for nine years worked in the Private Equity Department at the Royal Bank of Scotland, co-leading the management and disposal of assets up to £3.6bn enterprise value.
Since 2013 Kate has run her own property development and project management business, and enjoys triathlons, bridge and keeping her own pigs.
As well as the trustee board, Kate will join OCF’s Finance and Risk Committee, chaired by Nick Case. Additionally, as part of her new role Kate is assisting our Chief Executive and Board in putting together comprehensive plans for growth. In particular, she will help make concrete plans to fulfil our ambition to take a more strategic convening approach to some of the social problems we identified in Oxfordshire Uncovered.
