GroupsNewsOCFLord Lieutenant Tom Stevenson releases balloons in the chapel at Christchurch

Thanks to a potential trustee list held by Lord Lieutenant Tim Stevenson’s office, several charities have recruited new Board members with a wealth of experience, including OCVA, Community First Oxfordshire – and Oxfordshire Community Foundation!

The Oxfordshire Lieutenancy office has shared a New Year reminder that they hold a confidential list of local candidates who may be interested in taking on trustee roles. This list was launched in November and so far eight new placements have been facilitated through the list, including the new Chair of Oxfordshire Community Foundation, two new trustees for Community First Oxfordshire and a trustee for Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Action.

Charities who have benefited from the scheme have commented:

  • “It is a truly helpful, user-friendly way of making the connections between those individuals looking to get more involved and the organisations that require additional support.”
  • “Through the help of the Lieutenancy Trustee List we were able to find two excellent candidates for the position of Trustee. We would never have found these two individuals without that assistance.”

If you have gaps to fill on your Board of Trustees, you can get in touch via office@stevenson-oxford.co.uk, marking your email for the attention of the Lieutenancy Trustee List.
