OCF has temporarily paused applications to our Coronavirus: Community Resilience Fund whilst we deal with a backlog of existing applications.
Since the launch of the fund in April we have been working at an unprecedented rate to quickly make decisions about a large number of applications. So a pause is needed now to enable the team to catch up with the assessments and carry out the necessary due diligence.
We are also taking time to pause and ensure that the fund is able to be used to meet needs throughout the crisis, however long that may be. We are keen to try and support the longer-term recovery of the local voluntary and community sector.
We apologise for any inconvenience.
It is our intention to accept new applications in early July, and we will publish more details here when we have them. To join our mailing list and receive an email notification when the grants are open again, please opt in.
The Resilience Fund has so far made £447,140 in grants to 72 different organisations, covering emergency food delivery, adaptation of services to online working, support for homeless people in emergency accommodation, advice and support for people on accessing benefits, befriending over the phone or online, and much more. A weekly update is published here with a full list of grants and analysis of type of grant, funding sources and location. There are also several video case studies about the fund’s grants on our YouTube channel.
