Our impact

For 30 years Oxfordshire Community Foundation has worked to improve lives and tackle inequality by investing in Oxfordshire’s dynamic charitable sector. Since 1995, we have awarded over £20 million in grants supporting over 2,000 local organisations.

During 2024-25 we awarded £2.5 million in grants, supporting 139 charitable organisations across Oxfordshire.

Take a look at our video to hear how grassroots charitable organisations are transforming lives, thanks to grant-making from OCF.

Where our funding goes

We focus intentionally on Oxfordshire’s smallest charities, supporting them to continue their work in local communities throughout the county.

From befriending services and support for survivors of domestic abuse to empowering young people with learning disabilities and thriving community hubs, our grants are helping to improve lives and tackle inequality.

Our funding themes

We target investments into dynamic local organisations that are directly tackling these four funding priorities:

  • Tackling unaffordable essentials
  • Addressing poor health
  • Countering lack of opportunity
  • Alleviating loneliness and fear

These priorities have been guided by the issues revealed in Oxfordshire Uncovered, our latest research report from November 2023.
