Helping you to make a difference where it matters most

Oxfordshire Community Foundation is a charity that builds thriving communities through effective philanthropy. Since 1995 we’ve existed to improve the lives of the most disadvantaged people in Oxfordshire by working with donors to invest in small, local charities and community groups.

A tale of two counties

Beneath the visible affluence of the county, there are parts of Oxfordshire where our fellow citizens do not enjoy the same advantages and privileges. Too many people face poverty, inequality and lack of opportunity. Every single person in Oxfordshire deserves to lead a safe and secure life as part of a thriving community. We believe the people of Oxfordshire can make this vision a reality.

Our impact this year

From mental health support groups and good neighbour schemes to providing bikes for refugees and an advice service for people with sight loss, our funding has supported a wide range of needs.

Local giving making lasting change

We can help you to invest in the causes and communities that matter to you, in the way that works for you. By pooling resources, we are able to harness the power of the collective – reaching many more small and local charities than any of us would be able to on our own.

“Working with OCF is the simple way to give to the themes I care about the most. I would never have known about many of the causes I’ve helped without them. They are doing vital work and they need our support.

Donate to our Living Essentials Fund

Having a place to call home, which is warm and with readily available food, is something many of us take for granted. Yet for the most vulnerable in our county this may be unaffordable. Can you support people to have better lives across our county?
