A Tale of Two Counties Growing older in Oxfordshire

This Age UK Oxfordshire Report from 2010 was used in OCF’s Oxfordshire Uncovered Report, particularly when looking at loneliness and isolation. The report highlights that though the dreaming spires and images of affluence stay in the mind, Oxfordshire is in fact very divided in its experience. There are serious inequalities and problems.

The report covers Oxfordshire’s ‘demographic timebomb’, residential care, economic activity, pensioner poverty, health, and evidence that older people are actively contributing to community life.
