During COVID-19, OCF was able to deliver huge impact to our community. Following this success, OCF is now looking to harness this impact, building a fundraising approach that ensures we can support as many charities and community groups as possible, as the county faces worsening economic and social challenges.

Maximising existing and new opportunities and working closely with our Head of Philanthropy, our new Chief Executive will build close personal relationships with donors to secure vital corporate, foundation and philanthropic income to support those in need. The CEO will also raise our profile and represent the organisation across a broad range of stakeholders, from local grassroots partners to local government and MPs. Working with the Board, the CEO will also provide support and development for our staff, and oversee a collaborative and inclusive culture where the whole team can thrive.

We are looking for a highly effective ambassador for those in need of support, who brings:

  • A track record of raising income from either private, corporate, public or charitable sources
  • Experience of developing and leading successful fundraising or business development strategies
  • Solid relationship-building, networking and profile-raising skills.

This role is an unique opportunity to play an instrumental role in tackling social inequalities and deprivation, in order to make a lasting impact on Oxfordshire’s community.

OCF is committed to achieving greater diversity in its executive team/board, and welcomes applications regardless of sex, gender, race, age, sexuality, belief or disability.
