Following a recent strategic review, OCF has identified that a priority objective is a step change in its community impact activities. To achieve this, we will initiate a new approach to collaborative partnerships to develop lasting solutions to key issues of social disadvantage in Oxfordshire.

The Director of Strategic Programmes is a new, pivotal senior role at OCF, and holds responsibility to identify, develop, manage and assess the impact of a portfolio of OCF-led strategic community programmes. The role holder will convene a diverse partnership of relevant stakeholders from across Oxfordshire to develop collaborative solutions, and propose detailed project plans for delivery of services. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the role is instrumental to enable OCF to achieve its strategic objectives and move to the next stage of its development.

We are seeking a highly driven self-starter who is able to understand complex social problems and develop proposals to bring positive change that are supported by a diverse range of stakeholders. The person must be a good networker with experience of building collaborative partnerships to deliver services with measurable impact. The successful candidate will have excellent analytic and communication skills, with a deep commitment to combating social deprivation and disadvantage.
