OCF staff meet many inspiring people working at the heart of their community, accompanied by a beautiful banner supplied by friends at Dijon Designs!
We benefit from the support of many friends and partners, and this week is a great chance to thank Oxfordshire-based event stand creators Dijon Designs. They have generously supplied us with four pop-up stands so that we can continue to raise our profile at events, bringing us really up to date, with graphic design and photos that reflect what we do and who benefits from our services.
OCF staff Kate Parrinder and Annette Ahern used one of the banners for the first time at Banbury volunteering fair, which featured a marketplace in the town hall where local charities and community groups promoted volunteering opportunities. OCF took the chance to make these groups aware of the availability of grant funding for small community groups in Oxfordshire. We were delighted to hear about so many worthwhile grassroots projects happening in the Banbury area that support, amongst other things, the elderly, people with disabilities, people suffering from food poverty, and the children of adults in prison.
