“Heart Speaks to Heart” – Newman Meeting Place fundraising dinner

OCF Chief Executive Jayne Woodley will attend a dinner held by the Friends of Littlemore Church to raise funds for renovations at the Newman Meeting Place, a community space in St Mary and St Nicolas Church.

The renovations are intended to help the church better serve the needs of the diverse community of Littlemore, which is ranked in the bottom 10% of neighbourhoods in the Index of Multiple Deprivation. Thirty per cent of children in the area are living in poverty, and 40% of over 60s in the area are income deprived.

The project will deliver improved facilities, such as toilets and heating, that will enable the church to host parent and toddler sessions, coffee mornings for over 60s, and drop-in befriending sessions.
