Age Friendly Banbury and partners promoted a healthy start to 2022 with a pop-up stall in the market on Thursday January 20th. They encouraged older residents to start the year with new resolutions by sharing partner information on keeping well, active and engaged.

OCF is delighted to announce a brand new annual grants round from The Didcot Powerhouse Fund. Grants between £1,000 and £25,000 are available. Applications are open for initial Expression of Interest until Thursday 17 February.
OCF is very pleased to be running a healthy hearts grants round. This funding, made available from Oxfordshire County Council, Public Health, aims to improve or maintain cardiovascular health, including raising awareness, increasing knowledge of the issues, and promoting positive behaviour, such as increased physical activity and reduced smoking. Grants between £2,000 and £25,000 are available.

OCF is delighted to be one of the network of community foundations distributing the Arts Council England Let’s Create Jubilee Fund. This £5 million programme will support community and voluntary organisations in England to develop creative and cultural activities as part of Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022.
The pandemic has created additional isolation and loneliness for many sectors of the community, leading to further mental health issues for some. Projects funded will help with recovery from the adverse consequences of the pandemic and lockdowns, with grants totalling over £223,000 awarded to 48 organisations.
