NewsOCFChristmas tree

We will be closed during the Christmas and New Year period. The team at OCF wishes you a merry Christmas and encourages you to consider making a gift to the local community this festive season.

Season’s greetings to you and your family from the team here at Oxfordshire Community Foundation! We hope Christmas brings you peace and happiness.

Please note that our office will be closed from Thursday 24th December, opening again on Monday 4th January. If you need to contact us urgently during this time, you can call Jayne on 07775 625942.

Our 2015 impact report is now available, with highlights of our achievements over the last year. We’re very proud of our 400% increase in grant-making and 254% growth in income during 2014-15 – but we need help from our network to sustain this momentum.

Did you know that in Oxfordshire:

  • 18,200 people died prematurely in the winter of 2013-14 – largely older people struggling with poverty and isolation?
  • Men from the most deprived areas can expect to live 8.8 years less than those in the least deprived areas?
  • Nearly 19,000 people have a limiting long-term illness or disability?

With the help of our donors, we make grants to hundreds of local charities and community groups addressing all of these issues and many more.

If you haven’t done so already, please consider supporting our work this Christmas by making a donation to our Health and Wellbeing Fund.
