UK Community Foundations (UKCF) is the umbrella organisation for all community foundations. They have quality accredited Oxfordshire Community Foundation to standards endorsed by the Charity Commission, and provide advice and support. They work to deliver UK-wide fundraising and grant-making programmes through community foundations.

OCF’s capital funds are invested through CCLA and Brompton Asset Management. CCLA is the investment fund manager for any donations allocated to our Community First Endowment Match Challenge, which has enabled us to add 50p for every £1 invested.

Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Action (OCVA) supports Oxfordshire’s voluntary and charitable sector with development and funding advice, information and training. They often advise groups to apply to us for funding, support them in making their grant applications. They also work with OCF to support employee volunteering and our Charity Triage service.

The Philanthropy Fellowship (Thames Valley) is a group of fellows from Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Oxfordshire. They are creating a movement of inspiring people who use their wealth, skills, time and resources to provoke lasting social change.

Charity Mentors Oxfordshire logo

Charity Mentors provides a free mentoring service to benefit local charitable organisations. A small team of experienced mentors, who have all been in the position of running organisations, use their skill to help charity leaders analyse current strategic challenges, and weigh up options for the best way forward. OCF works with Charity Mentors on our Charity Triage initiative.

The Oxfordshire Lieutenancy supports OCF in a range of ways. Lord Lieutenant Tim Stevenson is OCF’s President and a firm advocate of the work of the community foundation. OCF also works with the Lieutenant’s office to make referrals to the central list of people willing to become charity trustees.
